DRESS CODE
Wear What You Want, Within Reason

General Dress Code
- No shoes beyond the reception area. Remove footwear within the reception area. (sport-specific footwear unused outside is permitted on mats)
- Always wear a top. Shirtlessness is only permitted in changing areas.
- No see-through clothing. Bright lighting reveals more than expected—check your attire and how it stretches during movement.
What To Wear On The Mats
- No pockets, zippers, or buttons—these could lead to injury or damage the mats.
- Tops must cover chest, shoulders, and midriff. No tank tops, v-necks, or crop tops.
- Bottoms must be double-layered. Leggings must be either double-lined (not see-through when stretched) or be worn with compression shorts underneath. If outfit appears see through when stretched and under bright lights, then it is not fit for the mats.
- No excessively loose clothing. Loose t-shirts must be tucked in.
- No jewelry. Remove items that could cause injury or damage mats. (reasonable exceptions for religious/personal significance)
Points On Hygiene
- Always use footwear in the bathroom. Wash hands thoroughly before returning to training.
- Keep fingernails and toenails trimmed short.
- Wash all training clothes after each session. Disinfect gear regularly.
- Shower immediately after training.
- Do not attend class with rashes, wounds, or skin issues. See a doctor before returning to the mats.
